Lisa Boyer, Resident Trainer and Instructor 

Lisa’s horse experience began more than 35 years ago, when at the age of 3, she won a pony whom she promptly named “Mr. Ed.” It was the beginning of a career. For the past 20 years, Lisa has specialized in dressage, earning the following awards and credentials:

  • USDF Silver and Bronze medalist
  • USET Carl Asmis Fund Scholarship Recipient
  • USDF “L” graduate with distinction
  • USDF Region 6 Advanced Young Rider Coordinator

In the course of her career, Lisa has trained over 75 successful competition dressage horses, including numerous USDF/NW dressage champions, such as USDF Horse of the Year, and All Breed Award Winners (training through FEI).

Lisa is an experienced trainer of stallions, mares, and geldings of all ages, temperaments, and breeds. She is available for coaching and instruction on your horse or a school horse, providing simple, straightforward, clear instruction through FEI. Her clientele ranges from competitive dressage riders to those just trying dressage for the first time. She also assists eventers and show jumping riders to improve their flatwork through dressage techniques.
